Responsibilities:
- Watch Polishing:
- Execute polishing procedures to restore the aesthetic appeal of watches.
- Choose appropriate polishing techniques for different materials (e.g., stainless steel, gold, precious metals).
- Maintain the integrity of watch surfaces while removing scratches and blemishes
- Ensuring Polishing debris/chemicals to be thoroughly cleaned before reassembly
- Conduct Preparation - Disassembly (if needed) - Polish - Re-assembly - Finishing
2. Watch Quality Check: - Conduct thorough inspections to authenticate luxury watches.
- Verify serial numbers, engravings, and other authenticity markers.
3. Watch Inspection (Movement/Timing, Dial-Handling, Case-Bracelet): - Evaluate and analyze watch movements to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Inspect dial and hands for proper alignment and condition.
- Examine the case and bracelet for any signs of wear, damage, or imperfections.
- Identify and document issues that require further attention.
Requirement & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in luxury watch Polishing.
- Have development mentality of ideal Watch servicing, authentication & polishing environment
- Preferably Certified Training from In-House or Out-House programs such as WOSTEP (Watchmakers of Switzerland Training and Educational Program) or Nicolas G Hayek Watch School is highly desirable.
- Mandatory proficiency in servicing watches from the top 5 luxury brands mentioned above Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Rolex, Richard Mille, Omega, and Panerai (priority), other brand will be a plus have
- In-depth understanding of the intricacies and specifications unique to each brand.
