We are looking for a Freelance Growth / Marketing Engineer who takes responsibility naturally, thinks in outcomes and wants to build, improve, and scale — not just “execute tasks.”



Responsibilities:

  • Ensure code quality through code reviews.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal performance and system reliability.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance the platform.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field / last year University

  • 3 years of hands-on experience in software development is preferable, but fresh graduate is welcomed

  • Looking to hone skills in front-end technologies like Svelte.js, React, Vercel, and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Core Tracking & Analytics Skills:

 Experience implementing Google Analytics 4 (GA4) event tracking

 Ability to design and implement custom event tracking frameworks

 Experience implementing tracking via Google Tag Manager

 Strong understanding of event parameters, conversions, and attribution

 Ability to audit and debug tracking using tools like browser dev tools and tag assistants


2. Ads & Conversion Tracking:

 Experience implementing Meta Pixel and conversion tracking

 Experience implementing Google Ads conversion tracking

 Experience with server-side tracking / Conversion APIs

 Experience with remarketing / retargeting tag implementation

 Ability to ensure tracking consistency across landing page → PDP → checkout


3. Data Layer & Tag Architecture:

 Experience designing and implementing structured data Layer frameworks

 Experience sending events from frontend to tag managers

 Understanding of ecommerce tracking schemas (view_item, add_to_cart, purchase)

 Ability to document and maintain tracking specs


4. Product Feed & Catalog Integration:

 Experience implementing Meta Commerce Manager product catalog feeds

 Experience implementing Google Merchant Center product feeds

 Ability to sync product catalog data with ad platforms

 Experience debugging catalog mismatch or feed errors


5. Frontend Engineering Skills:

 Strong JavaScript / TypeScript

 Experience implementing tracking in React / Next.js / SPA environments

 Understanding of DOM event listeners and data extraction

 Experience implementing tracking across dynamic components
